How to use the choice wheel

Add 2–40 choices or paste a list from a spreadsheet or CSV. With one column, the choice is shown on the wheel and as the result. For a short wheel label and a longer answer, paste two columns in this order: Display, Result. Both columns must be filled on every row; leave out the header row.

Display labels can have up to 80 characters; results can have up to 500. Select a format if Auto interprets a comma as a column separator. Quoted CSV cells may contain commas. The import replaces the current choices only when the whole list is valid.

Use the arrows to scroll through the complete choices. Collapse “Your choices” to show the wheel and its result, then reopen it whenever you want—no refresh needed. Labels stay upright while spinning. Long labels are shortened on the wheel; above 16 choices, segment numbers match the complete list.

Set a 10–30 second spin, then press GO or Spin the wheel. The selected row stops under the pointer and its result appears in large bold text. Every row has an equal chance; repeated rows get extra chances. Gentle mode avoids the animation.

Make the activity fit your group

Remove activities that do not fit your time, space or group before you spin. Participation is optional: let people pass or use a seated, spoken or written alternative. The starter activities need only conversation and, for some choices, paper and a pen.

Keep Display short, such as Sketch. Use Result for the full activity instruction. For your own session, paste two columns containing a short activity name and an instruction on every row.

Privacy and limitations

Selection uses your browser’s cryptographic random generator. This is a casual decision tool, not a certified draw.

Wheels stay in this browser on this device. Clearing site data removes them. This app has no accounts or analytics. This public page is configured for Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and process request information for eligible advertisements, subject to applicable consent choices. This app does not send wheel choices as ad targeting. Privacy policy. Privacy choices. The basic form sends choices to the server for one draw; the app does not save or log them. Hosting infrastructure may process request metadata.

If an inactive tab is paused, the result appears when it next renders. Gentle mode follows your device’s reduced-motion setting initially.
